Participated in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of a large-scale stacker reclaimer prior to transport by barge to North Vancouver, BC. The project was successfully completed on schedule and within budget despite operational challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Responsibilities included welding and fabrication of structural components using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Work involved specialized FCAW, MCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding procedures, along with structural field work utilizing mobile welding trucks. Additional scope included performing major crack repairs on pressure vessels, heavy machinery, and critical structural components.
